Easily Manipulate Bulky and Heavy Loads with Vacuum Hoist Lifters
Vacuum hoist lifters are magical seeming pieces of equipment (particularly to those who are first exposed to them and do not understand the mechanism behind their operation) that allow a single human operator to manipulate a large and awkward load with apparent ease. Vacuum hoist lifters utilize vacuum pumps to attach to a heavy load and then allow the ambient air pressure to lift and move the cargo.
Contrary to popular belief, vacuum hoist lifters do not manipulate their loads by "sucking" on the cargo--rather, they reduce the air pressure at the attachment point which causes the rest of the air around the cargo to essentially lift the cargo into place. In other words, instead of the vacuum hoist lifters "pulling" the cargo into place, it is actually the air in the room that "pushes" the load where it needs to go. Regardless of the physical principles behind their operation, no one can deny that vacuum hoist lifters are an incredible time and labor saver in certain environments.
Good vacuum hoist lifters will typically come equipped with a sturdy vacuum pump, gauges to measure and monitor the state of the vacuum, and controls that allow the operator to easily lift, manipulate, and set down the load. While the amount that vacuum hoist lifters can move is limited by air pressure, many quality hoists can handle up to a ton or more. For environments where overhead chain lifts or mobile lifting machinery such as forklifts are not feasible, vacuum hoist lifters are a necessity.
